Weight limit | flights from Kathmandu to Lukla
The weight limit on flights to the Everest region, basically to Lukla is 15 kgs total - checked in and carry on. This also holds true for flights to all Mountain airports on the tiny planes. Basically, phaplu, Jomsom, talcha, juphal, simikot etc

This is a fact. This year close to one million travellers came to Nepal. If each stayed about five days on average, which is quite reasonable, and drank 1.5 bottles of water a day, that's 7.5 million bottles of water, 50% of which will never get recycled, according to scientists. That's staggering.
